We know that very few movies starring women are made by Hollywood. Now it seems that the stories Academy of Motion Picture Art sand Sciences the organization that runs the Academy Awards continues the industry marginalization of women by inviting only 32 women to join its ranks out of the 105 invitations. That means they invited 73 men.Sigh.
I also noticed that Ruby Dee who has been working for ages just got her invitation this year. Shameful.
